Things that irritate us when riding a jeepney
Old /Damaged Jeepney. Owners and drivers should regularly check their jeepney if it is in good condition. They must see to it that their jeepney is clean and comfortable.
-No handle bars
-No rain covers
-Rusty body
-Dirty exhaust pipes
-Reserve tires is placed in side the passenger seats
Stalling (pa-ugat) tactics by drivers. We do understand that the more passengers they have, the bigger the income they get. But there are drivers who unnecessarily stops at every corner and to take a chance of getting a passenger.
Discourteous Passengers. Some passengers are just uneducated.
-"Bayad! / Bayad o!" instead of saying "Palihog Bayad"
-Not saying "thank you"
-Stepping in someone's shoes/feet without saying sorry.
-Not sitting properly
-Misbehaving kids
-Noisy/Tsismosa
-PDA lovers
-Bringing pets especially smelly dogs
-Pretending to be asleep, not hearing you or not seeing your hand when your paying
The worst kind of passengers:
-Snatchers/Hold-up men
-spitting passengers
-smokers
-drunk
-Manyakis/Bastos
-bad odor
